The Assignments
ILM Assessments provide an opportunity to relate your learning directly to your current workplace. This is an excellent way to embed and apply the learning from the course.
For example you may be asked apply a topic you learned on the course and evaluate its impact on performance in the workplace (e.g. a theory of motivation). Or you may be asked to evaluate the benefits of effective delegation and explain how you have been able to use it after the training. This approach helps you implement the training immediately after the course (good for your and your company) rather than losing the momentum and motivation – something that can easily happen after training.
For the Level 4 & 5 Awards the nominal word count for each assignment is approximately 2500 words (about four A4 pages in Arial 12 font). We provide the support you need to achieve the qualification – you bring your commitment.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements but participants will normally be either practising or aspiring first line or middle managers and have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.
